Go ask white Europeans. They devised these processes for themselves. ... My guess is, they want to have their cultural history dissolved so that they can blink at Nietzschean genealogy.
Subalterns needn't fear genealogy because they have been oppress'd, and thus plausibly had no agency -- e.g. both during the British Raj, and afterwards I guess because of the irreducible after-effects of British imperialism (the way the Bush-Cheney heritage continues to prevent the Democrats from putting together a real package for American prosperity; or Tsarist atrocities prompting Communist engineer'd famines as a kind of reflex kick).
If subalterns gain control of Europe, everything bad they do can be blamed on the reality that their actions are only trying to undo the damage done by Christendom and its aftermath. Genealogy will always reveal them to be ultimately powerless.
They read Ephesians 6:12 on this wise: »For we the powerless and the deprived are strugglers against the powers and the principalities. If the result is happy prosperity for everyone, our struggle will have been successful and we will deserve all praise and congratulations. If the result is miserable, that will be evidence that our struggle must somehow have been corrupted by the powers and principalities.«
