You can tell this low budget sci-fi movie is Canadian.
The level of Political Correctness is over the top.
Science, tech and pilots top heavy with women.
All White girls, though. Shameful.
Only one Negro but he was not Numinous. Harder to come by in Canada. We had a Latino stand-in.
But the townsfolk are more than 50% Third Worlders.

Even though David James Elliott saves the world, he can't save this movie.

Mr. Elliott definitely played a role in the development of my eros. I think my love of military men originated from his character on JAG. He rocked dress whites like nobody's business. And he's still a very handsome man. :)
