Modern grey

A serial killer movie with a "crazy Christian" theme, starring Susan Sarandon as a burned out, pill and booze drinking tiny town police chief. Feminism's results.

A bad cliche in every way. The expected mystical BS passed off as hidden fact --revealed by a decrepit Donald Southerland--and the typical disrespect.

For example, a funeral is held at "St George Catholic Church." Nothing outside or inside the building says anything other than Protestant.

The writer is a Mr Abramovitch. Big surprise.

Ms Sarandon in this flick reminds me of one of my sisters on a bad day. Including a tediously negative relationship with her mother.

But the cold grey feel of southern Ontario/Quebec in winter is authentic.
